PC Associates are fully qualified, independent specialist surveyors with over thirty years practical experience in investigating dampness and timber defects in all types of property. Damp and timber defects are of great concern to many property owners and feature heavily in most building surveys and valuations. However, dampness is often misunderstood and can often result in inappropriate and expensive treatment and repairs being undertaken, which generally only deal with the symptoms of the dampness and not the true causes.

PC Associates are headed by Paul Carter who has been investigating damp and timber defects for over 30 years. We are Surveyor members of the Property Care Association (PCA) incorporating the British Wood Preserving and Damp-proofing Association (BWPDA) and are Associate Members of the Association of Building Engineers (ABE). PC Associates also carry CSCS Management level Health & Safety accreditation and are fully insured for Public and Professional Liability Insurance.
